Pakistani Photoshoot

A recent outdoor photo shoot with a well known pakistani designer.

Hair and makeup by myself (MaryaS Makeup Artist)

Giorgio Armani Designer Lift

We love makeup and one product that has caught our eye recently is the Giorgio Armani Designer Lift foundation. Our first Giorgio Armani beauty love was the Luminous Silk foundation which is a lightweight, hydrating foundation which you can gradually build up so it’s between light to medium coverage, perfect for everyday wear. However Giorgio’s Armani Designer Lift foundation gives you more or less all of what you can get from the Luminous Silk but its a full coverage foundation. We cannot think of a more perfect combination foundation, well that was our thoughts when we first tried the foundation.

Say goodbye to imperfections

The results that we had seen at first were mind blowing and we could not help but to fall instantly in love with the foundation. The foundation is lightweight and spreads easily. It left the most flawless and luminous finish without looking liked you have a heap of foundation on, it leaves that kind of finish...the one we have always hoped for.

However we put the foundation to the test and we definitely do not recommend it for dry skin unlike the Luminous Silk which has no problem catering to the dreaded dry skin. We attempted to use the foundation on dry skin and it does not work well at all and neither does it last very long but when dry skin is at bay this foundation sits perfectly and is long lasting.

Giorgio Armani Designer Lift FoundationIf you loved the luminous silk then you will love this foundation.

This foundation is definitely something that we are keeping beside us.
What are your thoughts on the designer lift?
Yay or Nay?

Smashbox Studio Skin Foundation

We, here at beautybymarya are most certainly loving Smashbox’s studio skin foundation. We tested the foundation out many times and we just cannot fault it apart from that the liquid was slightly thick making blending slightly harder, but this ones certainly a keeper!

The foundation is hydrating, so all those whom suffer from the dreaded dry skin can be reassured that this foundation most certainly leaves the skin feeling moisturized. The foundation provides a medium to high coverage whilst leaving a fabulous flawless dewy finish which we love!

What are your thoughts on the studio skin? Yay or Nay?
